Stephen Collins’ talent agency has confirmed

Stephen Collins’ talent agency has confirmed that they will no longer be working with the 7th Heaven star following the news that the actor is currently under investigation for child molestation. Agency for the Performing Arts confirmed to Entertainment Weekly, that they would no longer be representing the star after an audiotape, which allegedly shows Collins admitting to having sexual encounters with minors, surfaced online this week. The agency has not made any further comment.

Since the news broke on Wednesday, Collins has lost his small role in the upcoming sequel to Seth McFarlane’s Ted as well as being dropped from an appearance in the hit series Scandal where he was set to play a TV reporter. Two networks have also confirmed that they will no longer be showing re runs of .

In the tape, Collins is supposedly heard admitting to molesting on underage girl and exposing himself to two others between the ages of 10 and 13 during a therapy session with his wife Faye Grant. She has since filed for divorce from the actor, confirming in divorce records that she was disgusted by her husband’s actions and even calls him a pedophile.

"I'm sickened by Stephen's actions,” she says. “I have urged Stephen multiple times to seek treatment for pedophilia, but he has refused to seek proper help or hospitalization for the predilection toward children." However, she insists that she did not leak the tape to the media.

LAPD confirmed this week that they are investigating into Collins and will be reviewing their own 2012 investigation with New York authorities.
